First of all, thank you for visiting ~Portrayed Melodies~.

What is ~Portrayed Melodies~?

We're two passionate music lovers who love going to shows and taking pictures at said shows. We actually met through our common interest for Isle of Thieves and The New Cities

We decided to start this project because we found that some of our pictures are as good, if not better than those taken by professional photographers. Of course, we're not saying that's the case for all our photos and we know we still have a long way to go but the more shows we go to, the better we get and we thought we'd start this up to see where it brings us.

On this blog, you will most likely see our show reviews and updates each time we add pictures. We will also probably try to promote bands we find amazing and who deserve to get out there.

We like a variety of music so who knows, maybe you'll see a band you like on here?

Portrayed Melodies had come to a forced stop last November when we hit our free Flickr account limit but we'll be back shortly with a bunch of new pictures =D

And um...thanks for getting us 200K hits on here? Though I suggest you all continue onto our Flickr? ;)

Another Flickr update + help needed

First of all, we need help finding another upload site similar to Flickr since we found out Flickr only allows 200 photos when you don't have a pro account. We are currently at 173 and nowhere near done posting our summer pictures, not to mention all the concerts we will be seeing. We need something else.

If ANYONE knows a site like Flickr that lets you host pictures and have sets (albums), and that is FREE, please tell us! (you can leave a comment on this post or send us an email portrayedmelodies@hotmail.com) If we don't find anything soon, I think we will switch over to Photobucket. Until then, we will continue posting in our Flickr until we get to 200 photos.
